This digital platform was designed for the verification of certificates issued by the Panama Maritime Authority (Certificate application, certificate endorsement, course endorsement and duplicate) under the Automated System Application for seafarers (SAA).

• Certificate Application (officers)
  Means a documentation issued by the General Directorate of Seafarers for masters, officers and GMDSS radio operators in accordance with chapters II, III, IV of the STCW'78 Convention, as amended. This option displays: Title and Seaman’s book.

• Certificate Application (ratings)
  Means a documentation issued by the General Directorate of Seafarers for ratings in accordance with national provisions and STCW'78 Convention, as amended. This option displays: Seaman’s book.

• Certificate Endorsement
  Documentation issued in accordance with regulation I/10 of the STCW'78 Convention, as amended, attesting recognition of a certificate of competence. This option displays: Title and Seaman’s book.

• Course Endorsement
  Documentary evidence recognizing validity of a Certificate of Proficiency issued by a State Party or training center recognized by the Panama Maritime Authority. This option can display: COP, RCOP, or endorsement.

• Duplicate
  Re-issued document from the first one with the same parameters and validity due to theft, loss, deterioration, or exhaustion of pages.

1. Select Search from the menu.
2. Enter the name of the seafarer.
3. Enter the date of birth (dd/mon/yyyy) Example: 01-Jan-1980.
4. Enter the seafarer's Marine ID or Document Number.
5. Select the button SEARCH.

Note:

When the seafarer information is displayed, select the "VERIFY" button to consult the Infractor List.
